What about us?
Of course, you should be US like what it means in my born tongue if your goal is to connect people, to group them, to help them, to make them achieve their goals. Of course, you should be harder than a rock in your belief in serving others on purpose. it’s about us, not you and me only. If THIS is our goal then US will be the most successful way to achieve it. That’s how I would describe entrepreneurship, the path that leads US to THIS. it’s about permission, trust, empathy, and care and love can for sure born from this mix of emotions.
Great entrepreneurs are those who understand the power of emotions, not those who master the last technological stack, corporate finance tricks, or marketing hacks which for sure are important pieces for your startup or company. Leaving yourself apart is for me a better and best way to have empathy with others and see their pains and needs both when it’s about people or organizations. This will allow you to see what those who you are trying to serve with your solutions, services or products really need and want but you have to trust yourself and be always ready to learn and be flexible to change your preconceived and fixed opinions about things given the new insights you get.
Maybe there isn't a map that leads to success but there is a compass that can for sure provide the right direction to it. Learning is this compass, but that’s my point and I can be wrong.
US has always been important but the democratization of technology that created this wired world we are living in now wherein distance and space are almost completely disrupted made it more and more important.
US is always more than one then if there is another one, person or organization, who cares about your ideas, solutions, products, services, startup, or company then US starts to apply and two can be enough but I for sure hope more for you.
