The selfish gene and disruption of distance
we left the world of competitions and we are already there into the world of connections, a world where distance is disrupted but time seems scarce and the feeling and fear to never get things done gets increased. Notice that ease of doing brought by the industrialisation and technology have increased our wants and wishes while the time resource stayed unchanged. As we are piling tasks into our to be done stack the in variability of the time make their duration of completion smaller and smaller. Of course industrial tools and computers allow us do more and faster but they seem to have the main issue of making us see ourselves like factories like super homo sapiens + able of everything so we onboard in so many things that keep us stressed and always running behind undefined goals that often are not only undefined but selfish at the same time. Yes I did not still read the book selfish gene but I am guessing that the disruption of distance has made us more selfish but this an assumption to experiment and prove, science can be a useful tool for that.
