The analogy is a key tool for navigating from genre to genre, sector to sector to sector, ideas to ideas like a cursor or a mathematical function. It helps the product designer to know what kind of objects matter to the everyday life of the audience she or he is targeting for using these objects for building conceptual simply understandable analogies that help them see the product like those objects they have already adopted. The computer used desktop as an analogy because it was targeting business people first. Steve jobs used bicycles to describe the computer because his audience was caring about the freedom of life as he does and that’s all that silicon valley was about a place of freedom of mind and creativity so bicycle of mind was a brilliant analogy or metaphor for pinpointing the personal computer.

Analogy doesn't not only help build better products as it did for the Wright brothers it also help market product better as Apple does.

Leverage the power of analogy for better marketing and product design.

What kind of objects your audience use and interact with?

Smartphone is for sure one of them.
