Infinite shelf space is what made platform like amazon successful using a long tail strategy what physical store cannot because they don’t have infinite space for showing the product to people. The same can be said for the music industry which used to sell disks and had physical space constraints but with Itunes that’s an infinite number of tracks that can be offered to people. I don’t know now how the world wide web transformed the time-space but for the ]hysical space it just made it infinite for storing products.

Remote working and online learning are just incarnations of this physical space extension that has been already manifested in so much industry.
