Mark Johnson and Georges Lakoff's book goes deeper into the role Metaphors play in our way of think before Steven Johnson wrote about how analogy helped entrepreneurs and engineers came up with innovative ideas like the assembly line in car manufacturing and how the wright brother use dit for building the first airplane. Today's entrepreneurs are less leveraging this powerful tool that we cannot live without when it comes to product design and innovation. Georges Lakoff clearly highlights how our subconscious categorizes concepts the main foundational component being ARGUMENTATION is a WAR. This a powerful gestalt that we live by and use in our everyday life when we talk, wear clothes, build our image. Without knowing social media amplified this but they are still using it badly because if they were using it correctly they could make social users spend the optimal time on social media that would make them get the same amount of revenues while keeping usage as low as possible to reduce cloud infrastructure cost. ARGUMENTATION is a WAR that can bring to life a new kind of Twitter where tweets are like grenades that you throw to your opponent. I thought years ago about this idea because in my born country when someone metaphorically wants to say that someone is attacking you with his speech We often say He is throwing a rock. So I said to myself that this was a great idea to build a platform where people instead of liking photos could just throw a stone with the goal of destroying others' photos and get a score like the best thrower. That was a long time before I connect with Prof. Georges Lakoff's works on linguistic and neuroscience. ARGUMENTATION IS A WAR that can bring a new kind of Twitter this for sure will be something amazing for political people. I have all the user experience flows in my mind and I will be drafting all of this in the coming days. Recall time is becoming shorter and shorter for me if I did not get the help of God I will never ship all these great ideas I am stacking days to days but Espoir is a driver for the believers.
