Roads, fiber, and handicaps

Why are all these fiber cables deployed without sensors for guiding blinds? How many miles of roads, railroads, and cables without sensors for providing path and guidance. If we cared enough we would already be in autonomous cars but we put all our eyes on products, services, and sales rather than seeing and helping people and more those with minorities and handicaps. Some of us hopefully cared enough about them that’s why they got the solution and they are carefully building it.
