My Idea Inside Journey From Intel Inside to AI Inside
A Look Back, a Leap Foward
Intel Inside – a phrase that once defined an era of personal computing. We’ve seen those iconic blue labels on countless desktops and laptops, a testament to the power and innovation of silicon chips.
As we journey into a future increasingly dominated by artificial intelligence, I anticipate a new label emerging: AI Inside.
Behind every product, service, or idea, there are creative minds who shape our world. These label makers, as I call them, are the architects of thought, categorizing, defining, and giving shape to our experiences. They are the ones who identify trends, anticipate needs, and craft compelling narratives.
From marketing gurus to product designers, label makers play a crucial role in shaping our consumer culture. They are the ones who decide which features to highlight, which benefits to emphasize, and which emotions to evoke. By carefully selecting words and images, they can influence our perceptions and drive our behavior.
Taking myself as a label maker, I embarked since more then four years on a mission to share my thoughts and ideas through a blog series with articles that could be labeled "Idea Inside" because these articles, primarily published on Medium, have explored a wide range of topics, from technological advancements to societal shifts. Some ideas were explicitly stated, while others were veiled, requiring a bit of detective work. By cross-referencing my Medium posts with my tweets, you could often uncover hidden gems and connect the dots.
Looking back, I’m struck by the uncanny accuracy of some of my predictions year over year. Many of the technologies I envisioned are now becoming reality.
In the coming years, I believe we will witness a convergence of AI and other emerging technologies. This convergence will give rise to new and innovative applications that for sure will reshape our world.
I’m excited to see what the future holds and to continue sharing my ideas and predictions with you over 2025. Whether it’s a fully realized prediction or a spark of inspiration, I hope that my "Idea Inside" articles will continue to provoke thought and stimulate discussion as they did up until now.
Happy New Year! I hope this year 2025 brings you much success and fulfillment. For my part, I’m aiming to go beyond my usual “Idea Inside” articles. I’m working towards creating something tangible, perhaps an “AI Inside” device or software, or both.
I believe the first 100 days of a new year often set the tone for the rest. So, I’m committed to making the most of this period and will be tracking my progress daily. I invite you to join me on this journey. Together, we can make the most of these first 100 days of 2025.
