With this field we are finding every days things that help us understand the world better but also strange things like the butterfly effect. The butterfly effect teach us that a small and infinitesimal variation into a systems can have a big impact in the futur behavior of this system. Bing Bang was the result of an very small event. Butterfly effect alert us that microstructure matters for financial markets because a small 100 shares bid or ask can have a huge impact today, tomorrow, a month or a year after.
