I am not sure that I would use the same words and tone but I do agree that we should take back the fundamentals languages and avoiding frameworks. In my last article I was highlighting the fact that frameworks should care more about the end users than the the productivity of the developers but I am currently writing about why it is important to have many choices of frameworks and why it is important once we code a solution with one to test the solution with other frameworks .... If the job market ask for a framework it is natural for developers to adopt it. unfortunately that's the market who decided that certain kind of js framework matter. You have seen the increasing number of jobs of react and react native. Yes core languages matter a lot more than frameworks.
