Coder Vs Developer
Being a coder is way different than being a software developer or engineer. It’s like being someone who is able to write a correct sentence and one who can write bestselling novels. As a coder, you just write code but software developers or engineers seek to deliver efficient software that people need and can use without going into a long learning journey. Being a software engineer is mainly about team working and shipping even if you are working on a personal project you should and must adopt this teamwork mindset. How can you be working alone while you have this brilliant connections engine which is the internet? Nobody is more than interested in what you are building than you but know that there are a lot of people out there ready to read or listen to your question for trying to provide you an answer. As a developer, you should consider them as part of your team… They may not be concerned about what you are building but they are for sure concerned about the tech stack that supports the building of your software. This stack can be the language you use or the framework that helps you get it done faster. Connect with your pairs and share your build or idea you will not gain as much by hiding. This is the core difference between a coder and a developer.
Coders write code while developers ship and share code for others to play with.
